UPDATE: TWO CAR ACCIDENT IN CASS COUNTY BRIEFLY SHUTS DOWN HIGHWAY
A two car accident on I-49 Highway Friday afternoon sent two drivers to
the hospital. At 12:15 pm Daniel Rumbo, 31 of Harrisonville, MO was
Southbound on I-49 in a 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser, and was attempting to
merge to the right lane when he struck a 2005 Mini is the rear driven by
Diane Page, 60 of Harrisonville. The Page vehicle travelled off the
right side of the roadway and overturned. Rumbo was transported by
Peculiar EMS to Belton Regional Medical Center with moderate injuries.
Ms Page was life lighted to Research Hospital in Kansas city Missouri with serious injuries.
