Bates County Man Escapes Injury in 1 Vehicle Accident

A Bates County man escaped injury this morning in a one-vehicle mishap on I-49 at the North edge of Nevada. The Nevada city police Sgt. Steve Bastow says it happened a few minutes before 6:00 a.m. and involved a car driven by Kevin J. Embrey of Rich Hill Missouri that had slid off the road and hit a mile-marker. No injuries were reported.
