Around 8:50am this morning the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a 2 vehicle accident on Missouri 7 Highway at Sunset Drive in Benton County.
The Accident occurred when the 2015 Freightliner driven by Robert D. Gadd 35,of California, Missouri overtook the 2005 Ford driven by Larry R. Hembree 56, of Urich Missouri striking it.
Mr. Hembree was life flighted to Research Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri with moderate injuries. Both was wearing seat belts. The Ford truck was totaled and towed from the scene by Tolliver Towing. The Freightliner had minor damage on the front of it.
