Weather Update: Weekend Forecast

Normally, everyone across the forecast area has a freeze (32 degrees) by now. However as of 10/23, the only location to hit 32 degrees was Green City, MO on 10/4. Looking at the very mild conditions heading into this weekend and even the beginning of next week, a freeze is still not expected for at least the next 7 days. That being said...with many areas well past there first normal freeze date...people with local growing interests may want to use the dry weekend ahead to finish any harvesting that may be left.
