He enjoyed fishing, tinkering, and working on his house. He loved spending time with his grandkids.
Survivors include a daughter, Candy Turner, Devon, KS; three sons, Michael Harper and wife Amy, Ft. Scott, Dustin Harper and wife Alison, Fulton, KS, and Scott Harper, Ft. Scott; two sisters, Debra Hazen and Rose Mary Pollard, Ft. Scott; three brothers, John Harper, Rush Springs, OK, James Harper and wife Debbie, Arma, KS, and David Harper and wife Ellen, Bronson, KS; seven grandchildren, Landon and London Turner, Kourtney, Lily and Ella Harper, and Charlee and Memphis Harper; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Steven Harper; and his parents.
Pastor Carl Ellis will conduct funeral services at 10:30 AM Saturday, October 15th, at the Cheney Witt Chapel. An informal time of visitation will follow.
