The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2000 Mercury driven by 85 year old William R. Hall of Cleveland, Missouri swerved to miss a deer in the roadway causing the vehicle to travel off the roadway and strike a fence and a ditch.
Mr. Hall sustained minor injuries in this accident and he was transported by private vehicle to Belton Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The vehicle received moderate damages and was towed from the scene by a private tow.
