Funeral services for Martin McCormick will be 10 a.m. Friday, December 16, 2016 at Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (660-679-6555) in Butler, Missouri. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Schowengerdt Chapel. Burial in Greenlawn Cemetery, Rich Hill, Missouri. Contributions to Friends of Greenlawn or Shawnee Mission Cancer.

Martin Russell McCormick, age 87 of Butler, Missouri died Saturday, December 10, 2016 at his home in Butler. He was born March 17, 1929 to Forest Ellis and Verna Alice Webb McCormick in Metz, Missouri.

Martin is survived by his wife, Lois McCormick of Butler, Missouri; one son, Donald McCormick and wife Christine of Raymore, Missouri; one daughter, Terri Ellis of Wichita, Kansas; one brother, Rex McCormick and wife Vera of Louisburg, Kansas; one sister, Delores Cronin of Kansas City, Kansas; a brother-in-law, Lennie Dale of Hume, Missouri; five grandchildren including Sonita Loyd of the home; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Evelyn Dale; infant son, Tommy; and infant daugher Sheila.
