This week, the attorney representing Casey Anders, 33, of Walker Mo. requested a different judge in the case against Anders, who is accused of killing Brendan Moreland, 28, of Nevada last year.
The case was opened last May when Nevada police responded to the Cozy Court motel on a report of shots fired, but ultimately ended with the arrest of Anders on the manslaughter charge along with additional charges of felony armed criminal action; unlawful possession of firearm; and a felony intent to distribute a controlled substance.
Anders plead not guilty to the charges last August. No word yet on the status of the change of judge request.
