MSHP: Please stay in your vehicle if you crash!

If you are in a crash or slide off the roadway, the safest place to stay is inside your car with your seat belt on in case others crash as well. 

During inclement weather, multiple vehicles often crash or slide off the roadway at the same location. 

If you are outside walking around your vehicle, the chances of being injured or killed is much greater than if you remain inside your vehicle.
