Ruby Mae Strauss was born January 17, 2017 at 5:35 pm at St. Luke’s Plaza Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. She later passed away at 7:17 pm surrounded by an abundance of love.
Memorial services will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Mullinax Funeral Home, Butler (660-679-0009). the family is requesting that everyone wear pink in honor of Ruby Mae.

Ruby Mae is the daughter of Samantha and Chris Strauss of Butler, MO. She is survived by her parents, two sisters; Emily Elizabeth and Lillian Jean, three brothers; Jacob Wesley, Gabriel Christian, and Titus Michael, maternal grandmother Mary Durnell of Harrisonville, MO, maternal grandfather Mike Oliver and wife Jamie of Harrisonville, MO, and paternal grandparents John and Jeannie Holmes of Pleasant Hill, MO.
She was preceded in death by her oldest brother Christian Lee; and her grandparents Carolyn "Jean" Durnell, Daryle Roe Durnell, and Flora Mae Strauss.

Although Ruby Mae's life was short, she left an imprint on so many. She was mommy and daddy's little fighter, til she took her very last breath.
