On Tuesday 3/21/17 around 1:00am the Ft. Scott Kansas Fire Department responded to a fully engulfed building fire located on N. Hill Street.When fire crews arrived on scene they discovered the building which was a former brick plant until 1935 was fully engulfed in flames.
Several Firefighters battled the fire all night and crews remained on scene until 9:30am the following morning.
No one was injured in this fire the building sustained major damages and was a total loss.
