Charges Pending on arrest made in Merwin Church Parking Lot

On July 16th a Deputy was conducting area checks when he observed a Dodge Durango parked in Merwin Church’s parking lot at 2300 hours. 

The Deputy made contact with the driver and the passenger of the vehicle. The Deputy conducted a search of the vehicle and located a baggie that had a white crystal substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine. 

Both the driver and the passenger of the vehicle were put on 24 hour investigative holds. Charges are pending at this time.
