| Abigail Louise Lathrop |
She was named Abigail Louise Lathrop, but we all knew her as Abby. Abby was a gentle, caring person. After three boys she was the long-awaited girl of her family and instantly beloved. She was so easy to love.
Abby was a kind and nurturing spirit; she loved all animals almost as much as she loved people.Loving people is where she really shined. She was a generous caregiver, always ready to show love to whoever needed it. Abby especially loved kids. She had a way about her that drew them to her and made them feel understood, and they loved her for that.
Abby was delightfully artistic and expressed it in many different ways. She was a lover of the earth and the beauty it produces, rainstorms, trees, and her rose bushes. She was a reader, a baker, a dreamer. Abby had a wonderful sense of humor, and she was one heck of a card player.
Above all, Abby belonged to a family who she loved deeply, especially her brother Cole. Cole and Abby; Abby and Cole, you couldn’t have one without the other. Their relationship was special, like they were twins born two years apart. They will always be best friends.
Our beautiful girl was a special person who will be missed desperately by all who had the privilege to know and love her.
