Elizabeth was born in Urich, Missouri the daughter of Clifford and Myrtle (Graham) Mendenhall. She lived in this area all her life. She was a farmer and enjoyed life fully. During the last several years she had battled Alzheimer's. She was a faithful member of the Urich Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and 3 siblings; Charles and Fred Mendenhall, and Mildred Sampson.
She is survived by her husband William Smith, Urich, Missouri, son Stephen and wife Cheryl, daughter Karen Conner and husband Ed, both of Urich. Six grandchildren and many great and great great grandchildren.
