The children received medical treatment for the injuries they suffered. Ms. Parkey pleaded guilty on the 2 child endangerment charges and was given a 5-year suspended imposition of sentence, two hundred hours community service, and ordered to pay 970.28 restitution on count 1 of the child endangerment charge. On count 2, Ms. Parkey pleaded guilty to carried 6 months suspended execution of sentence and was ordered to complete a 120-day post-conviction substance abuse program.
On the possession charge Ms. Parkey was also given a 5-year suspended imposition of sentence, 6-month SES and 2 years’ probation.
A probation violation hearing was held for Ricky Miller. Miller had violated the conditions of his probation by threatening his brother and sister in law with a knife. Miller pleaded guilty to unlawful use of a weapon and was sentenced to 2 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections.
Carlos Hernandez was charged in October 2015 with burglary and possession of a controlled substance. Hernandez pleaded guilty to the charges and was turned over to ICE and will be deported back to Mexico.
