The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 1995 Ford driven by Michael T. Banker of Harrisonville, Missouri suffered a medical issue, causing the vehicle to run of the roadway and strike a ditch and traffic sign.
Mr. Banker sustained moderate injuries and he was transported to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri for treatment.
The vehicle received minor damages and it was towed by Johnson's Tow.
