Two arrested in St. Clair County
On Nov. 20, Cody Franklin, 28, Springfield, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy during a traffic stop on a Greene County warrant for failure to appear in court on an original charge of domestic assault in the third degree. Bond is set at $1,000 cash or surety.
On Nov. 18, Jesse Morse, 29, Springfield, was arrested by a St. Clair County deputy for a class C felony of receiving stolen property. Morse was booked and released pending formal charges. While on patrol, a St. Clair County deputy observed a truck on the shoulder of the road. As he approached the vehicle, he could see a female subject, lying down on the seat. The deputy ran the vehicle and found it to be stolen out of Greene County. It was found that Morse also had a suspended driver’s license.
