Appleton City woman arrested on St. Clair County Warrant

On Jan. 7, Jacqueline Schwartz, 22, Appleton City, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant charging her with a class D felony of tampering with a motor vehicle in the first degree. Bond is set at $3,500 cash or surety.

The warrant comes after a deputy took a report of a stolen vehicle from Charlene Klinksick. Klinksick stated she was watching her son’s vehicle while he was out of town.

Klinksick stated her daughter, Jacqueline Schwartz, came into the house, grabbed the keys to the vehicle, and then drove the vehicle away from the house. Klinksick called Schwartz on the phone and told her to bring the vehicle back. Schwartz refused to do so.
