Assault and Burglary in Appleton City

On July 3, a St. Clair County deputy was dispatched to NW Highway M in reference to an assault and burglary.

While en route to the residence, the deputy spoke with Jimmy Bock on the phone. Bock stated he is renting a house to Kenneth Collins, Jr. and Pamela Williams without a written lease, but wants them off the property now. The deputy advised Bock, he would have to evict the residents.

The deputy arrived on scene and spoke with Kenneth Collins, Jr. Mr. Collins stated that when he arrived home he seen someone had mowed the grass and he noticed some of his belongings missing. Collins also stated that his landlord came onto the back porch of the residence and started to yell at him to get out. Then Bock spat onto Collins’ face and acted like he was going to hit Collins. Pamela Williams came outside and stated she was going to call 911. Bock left the property.

Collins stated that someone had been into his residence and that several items were missing. Collins lists the items as a kitchen trashcan, dishes, a 30 pound bag of dog food, a baby gate, two red lawn chairs, a Craftsman push mower, a pneumatic Bostitch coil nail gun, a pneumatic Bostitch frame nail gun, a 25 gallon Craftsman air compressor, a 100 foot air hose, a Milwaukee hammer drill, a Craftsman tool chest, a pneumatic dual action sander, miscellaneous hand tools, and an aluminum truck bed tool box. Total estimated loss value is $1,942.

Collins filled out a request for prosecution.
