On 8/26/18 around 5:25pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Vernon County along with Vernon County Sheriff's Office responded to a one vehicle rollover accident on Earhart Rd. around 6 miles north of Walker, Missouri in rural Vernon County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 1998 Chevrolet S-10 driven by 16 year old Derek G. Keith of Schell City, Missouri struck a ditch and overturned stiking a barbwire fence and coming to rest on its top.
Mr. Keith sustained moderate injuires in this accident and he was transported by private vehicle to Nevada Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The vehicle was totaled and removed from the scene by the owner.
