On 10/3/18 around 7:50pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Vernon County along with Vernon County Sheriff's Deputies and Walker Fire Department responded to a one vehicle semi truck rollover accident on Route K around 6 miles SE of Nevada.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol in Vernon County says the accident occurred when the 1994 Peterbilt driven by 17 year old Caleb R. Hughes of Nevada, Missouri was southbound on Route K and met another vehicle that was near the center line of traffic causing the truck to ran off the left side of the roadway and overturned.
Caleb R. Hughes sustained minor injuries in this accident and he was transported to Cedar County Memorial Hospital in El Dorado Springs, Missouri for treatment.
The Peterbilt was totaled and towed from the scene by Garwood's Wrecker Service of Nevada, Missouri.
