Update: Appleton City man injured in two vehicle accident involving a tractor

On 10/3/18 around 5:05pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Bates County along with Butler Fire Department and Bates County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident between a car and a tractor of Missouri 52 East Highway around 1 miles east of Route YY in rural Butler.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2005 Chevrolet driven by 34 year old Robert W. McIntosh of Appleton City, Missouri struck a hay baler that was being towed by a 1989 Ford Tractor driven by 49 year old Jason L. Rosier of Butler. After striking the vehicle the Chevrolet continued off the left side of the roadway and struck a fence before coming to rest.

Robert W. McIntosh sustained moderate injuries in this accident and he was transported by private vehicle to Bates County Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The Chevrolet was totaled and towed from the scene of the accident by Bulldog Tow of Appleton City.
