Oops, too soon?

After paying $60 to park, plus tickets, and a few gourmet priced hot dogs- there were some who vacated Arrowhead Stadium in disgust early in the game.

As was the case for some local fellas (who will remain nameless, as their personal shame is enough punishment) who no more got their vehicle warmed up when the Chiefs began a stunning comeback, to not only pass the Texans but go on to smash (annihilate, smoke, kill) our southern rivals in the AFC Divisional game yesterday.

"Undoubtedly, it was the best game I've never seen" said one person who left in disgust after a dreadful first quarter.

Interestingly, that person and one equally sorry buddy listened to the game on a very long trip back home. The only excitement in the car was Mitch Holthus pouring through the speakers.

"Maybe it was karma" he later said with a little optimism. "Maybe seeing people leave inspired them?"

Nice try.

The Chiefs didn't appear to let anything bother them as the game just got better and better with a remarkable finish of 51-31; and now the Titans are in the cross hairs next Sunday at 2:05 pm.

We had to ask... will you make that mistake again?

With head bowed (still today), the answer was an assured "NO".
