Fun 'looming' at Senior Center

There was a lot of activity at the Butler Senior Center today: Weaving classes, Bunco, Rummicub, and Line Dancing. In the weaving class (left to right) Galina Strelkoff, Nancy Storer, Cynthia Strelkoff, and sitting at the loom, Mary Limpus. Cynthia is showing Nancy Storer how to start her yarn for the loom on warping pegs. She then showed loom weaved mug pads. Oops! Audrie Conaway got caught by surprised crocheting during the class. The Bunco tournament gained 2 tables while the line dancers danced to country music. The rummicub players made a new friend feel welcome today. The gentleman just moved into the Butler area from Lexington told the coordinator he frequented the senior center in Lexington. He told the coordinator he loved to play rummicub. The kitchen staff served 45 diners today including a gentleman from the senior housing complex. There is always something good going on at the Butler Senior Center! - submitted
