Around 11:50 am today deputies were called to area to investigate a subject violating a court order of protection. During the investigation, deputies searched the area for the suspect. Deputies tracked the subject to a small outbuilding in the area of S. 7th Street and E. Gum Street where Sheriff’s Office K9 Champ located the person hiding in the second floor of the building.
Ronald M. Hibdon Jr., 40, Garden City was treated and released at the scene by EMS.
Hibdon was then transported to the Cass County Jail where he is in custody on a No Bond Missouri Parole warrant.
“Searching for a wanted suspect in these conditions is inherently dangerous. When situations like this arise we are fortunate to have 3 well trained K9 teams,” said Sheriff Jeff Weber.
