Officer involved shooting in Bates County

The Bates County Sheriffs Office is working a Deputy involved shooting in rural Butler. Both the Deputy and suspect has been transported to the Bates County Hospital for treatment.

Additional information will be released here when facts of the case are obtained. 

An outside agency has been requested to perform the investigation and is responding to the scene.
