On 8/19/20 around 7:10pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol along in Bates County with Butler Fire Department and Bates County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a one vehicle rollover accident on Missouri 52 Westbound at Butler City Lake Road.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when a 2010 Jeep was westbound on Missouri 52 Highway when it began to skid and ran off the right side of the roadway causing the vehicle to overturn and strike a ditch.
Three people sustained minor injuries in this accident 17 year old Cody R. Thomas of Butler, Missouri and two juvenile females ages 16 and 15 were transported to Bates County Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene of this accident by Douty's Tow of Butler.
