He married Mary C. Schroeder on May 2, 1968 at Kansas City, Missouri, to this union three children were born. Larry was a handyman and tinkerer throughout his life, he enjoyed fishing and watching westerns.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Clarence Dean Slape, a daughter, Mary Ann Ballard. Larry is survived by his wife, a daughter, Billie Jo Mann and husband, Willie, two sisters Linda Goza and husband, Bob, Theresa Logan, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
