On May 18, 2021 the Nevada Police Department conducted a Badge Pinning Ceremony in the City Council Chambers, during the Regular Session City Council Meeting.
The ceremony recognized one officer that has recently been promoted within the department.
Detective Sergeant Joshua Westerhold was promoted to the rank of Captain, his badge was pinned by his daughter, Maddy.
