Well, enjoy today while it lasts, snow will be moving into the region later tonight. A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for most of the region from 9 PM tonight through 6 AM Friday. Thursday is looking rough, especially for the morning commute hours.
The swath of greatest snow will be from northeastern Kansas into western and northwestern Missouri; generally the area between US HWY 36 to the north and US HWY 50 to the south.
Overall, most of us will see a decent snowfall and some "lucky" folks could see upwards of 7 inches of snow when it's all said and done Friday morning.
