Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 23, 2022 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Jeff will then be laid to rest at Belton Cemetery in Belton, Missouri.
Jeff was born in Butler, Missouri on June 22, 1958 to John Amos Hewitt and Betty Lolene (Garrison) Hewitt. After graduating high school, Jeff entered into the workforce working the majority of his career as a sheet metal fabricator. In life Jeff was blessed with two children, Amanda and Corey. He was a jack of all trades, especially when it came to building, fabricating, or fixing anything.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, John and Betty Hewitt; and two brothers, John Allen Hewitt and Bryan Lee Hewitt.
He is survived by daughter, Amanda Hewitt (Christopher Stumph): his son, Corey Hewitt (Sara Brookshire); three sisters, Julie Anne Martel (Kevin), Jeanne Marie Scott (Nick), and Kelly Kathlene Hewitt (Stuart Davis); two grandchildren, Charlotte Reyne Brookshire and Emily Adelaide Brookshire; and canine companion, Hook.
