Memorial services will be held on Friday, May 5, 2023 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m.
Jo was born in Charleston, Missouri on September 26, 1937, to Leslie Wade Fox and Josephine (Finley) Fox. Jo graduated high school in Charleston and continued her education at Stephenson College in Columbia (now known as Columbia College). She then transferred to the University of Missouri - Columbia receiving her bachelor’s degree in music education. In the summer of 1960, she was joined in marriage with her late husband James A. Bush on July 30th. Their union was blessed with two children. Jo joined James in his commercial real estate business, selling residential real estate and soon opened the Area Realtors office in Raymore, Missouri. They worked together at Area Realtors for approximately twenty years.
Jo was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Bush; brother Leslie S. Fox; and sister Jeanette Ashby.
She is survived by her daughter, Laura Crotty; son, Steven Bush (Christine); ten grandchildren, James Burke, Daniel Burke (Lisa), Joseph Burke (Maureen), Thomas Burke (Maddie), William Crotty (Aubrie), Matthew Crotty, Steve Bush, Meredith Walker (Reed), Bailey Bush, and Kyle Bush; and two great grandchildren, Sutton and Declan.
