Terry served in the U.S. Army in the 82nd Airborne Division from 1961 to 1964.
He is survived by his wife Margaret (Johnson) O’Dell of the home, one son, Ricky O’Dell and family, Seth and Abagail O’Dell of Liberty, Missouri, one daughter, Terri Sue and husband Michael McCarthy and family, Justin and Haley McCarthy of Sedalia, Missouri, grandson Lucas and wife Diana O’Dell and family, Luciana, Finley, and Jax H. O’Dell of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, grandson Logan and wife Stephanie Onwiler and family, Bailee, Jameson and Olivia of Raymore, Missouri, grandson Landon (O’Dell) Lackey of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, one brother and one sister, along with many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by one son, Kenneth E. O’Dell, his parents, Halie and Jewell O’Dell, six brothers and one sister.
He will be Missed by some and Loved by All.
Terry’s wishes were to be cremated and placed in the VA Cemetery in Higginsville, Missouri at 12:00 PM on Thursday, June 29, 2023.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri.
