Fatality accident early this morning in Henry County

In the early morning hours of September 10th around 1:50 a.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Henry County along with Henry County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a two vehicle fatality accident on Missouri 7 Highway just east of NE CR 681in rural Henry County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the westbound 2008 Smart Car driven by 34 year old Kristopher T. Wilson of Warrensburg, Missouri crossed the centerline of traffic and struck the eastbound 2008 Ford Expedition driven by 70 year old Jeffrey A. Milam of Warsaw, Missouri head on.

Kristopher T. Wilson was pronounced dead at the scene of this accident and he was transported to Consalus Funeral Home in Clinton.

Jeffrey A. Milam sustained minor injuries and he was transported by ambulance to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital for treatment. 

A passenger in his vehicle 38 year old Carly M. Milam sustained moderate injuries and she was transported by air ambulance to St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri for treatment.

This is the Missouri State Highway Patrol 59th fatality accident of the year 2023.
