Ray Miner was born December 9, 1939 in Fort Scott, Kansas to Harley and Myrtle Harding Minor.
Ray married Laura Lawson on June 10, 1960. Together they started their lives working on the farm. Ray then went to work for the Peabody Coal Mine. After retiring he worked for Ashgrove Aggregate.
Ray enjoyed being outside either working in the garden or working on woodworking projects.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents, wife Laura Miner, son Larry Miner, and daughter Brenda Bradley. He is survived by three children, 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
