The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when a northbound 2001 Chevrolet 2500 driven by a 16 year old male juvenile from El Dorado Springs, Missouri and a southbound 2014 Ford Flex driven by 23 year old Remi L. Johnson of Rockville, Missouri struck in the middle of the roadway.
Remi L. Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene of this accident by the St. Clair County Coroners Office. The juvenile male along with another juvenile male from El Dorado Springs both sustained serious injuries.
This is Troop D of the Missouri State Highway Patrol's 131st fatality accident of the year 2023.
