Deepwater man escapes serious injuries in Henry County ATV rollover accident

On Sunday May 12th around 2:30 p.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Henry County along with Henry County Sheriff's Office responded to a ATV accident on Route Z and SE CR 1021 in rural Deepwater.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the northbound Can-Am Renegade ATV driven by 31 year old Cameron S. McCowell of Deepwater, Missouri had a mechanical failure, causing the ATV to cross the roadway, striking trees and overturning. 

Mr. McCowell sustained minor injuries and he was evaluated by EMS at the scene of the accident and refused treatment.
