Nevada teen escapes serious injury in Vernon County Crash

On Saturday September 14th around 6:50 p.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Vernon County along with the Vernon County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a one vehicle accident on Stockade Road 4 miles south of Nevada.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occured when the west bound 2008 Pontiac G6 driven by a 17 year old juvenile of Nevada, Missouri traveled off of the roadway in a curve, travelled into a private drive, and struck two parked cars.

The juvenile sustained minor injuries and was transported to Nevada Regional Medical Center for treatment.
