Vernon county sheriff's office along with Nevada Police department were able to take into custody and individual with a felony warrant.
Upon entering the subject's property the individual was barricaded in his house after a brief standoff we were able to take the subject into custody for his felony warrant. No officers were hurt during the standoff.
The subject taken into custody was Brian Pearce of Nevada on the following charges:
571.070. Unlawful possession of a firearm
571.010 unlawful use of a weapon
3 counts 565.130 kidnapping 3rd degree .
NO BOND
All subjects are innocent until proven guilty.
