Adrian FFA senior Emma recently returned from the Missouri State Fair with an impressive collection of honors, adding another highlight to an already successful high school career.
Emma, who is completing her senior year at Adrian High School, will graduate in December after completing her graduation requirements early. She represented Adrian FFA at the Missouri State Fair, where she competed with her Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats.
Her accomplishments at the State Fair included:
- Best Senior Doe in Show
- Grand Champion Senior Nigerian Dwarf
- Reserve Champion Senior Nigerian Dwarf
- Senior Showmanship Award
Emma’s success was especially significant because she was the only Adrian FFA senior exhibiting dairy goats at the Missouri State Fair.
One of the memorable moments of the week came when Emma’s Ag teacher, Casinda Smith, personally congratulated her at the family’s pen in the sheep pavilion following her successful showing.
Her family said they were extremely proud of Emma’s accomplishments, as well as the dedication and hard work she has demonstrated throughout her FFA career.
With her senior year already well underway and graduation approaching in December, Emma has plenty to celebrate. Her family is also looking forward to another year at the fair and more opportunities to make memories together.
JamesandCheri Womelduff shared some heartfelt pride for their daughter:
“Emma, we are so proud of everything you have accomplished. You worked hard, represented Adrian FFA well and absolutely rocked it at the State Fair. We love you so much!”
