Butler Public Library annual book sale next week
The Butler Public Library's annual book sale will be June 1-2-3rd. The sneak preview is May 31st 5:30-7:00 P.M. Admission is $5.00.
We have a very large assortment of good VHS movies that will be .50 cents. If you have books for donation, please bring them by as soon as possible. Please help us--help you!

Call system activated to locate hospitalized victims of the Joplin tornadoes
The Greater Kansas City Chapter of the American Red Cross has activated the Patient Locator Program in conjunction with the regional hospitals. Persons seeking a loved one from the Joplin area who may have been transported to a Kansas City area hospital may call this number to determine where that person is
currently hospitalized. Operators will search a database of information supplied by the hospitals identifying patients admitted in relation to the tornadoes that occurred in Joplin. Callers will be instructed what hospital to call and what procedures to follow.
