Ballard Flash Food Drive a Success

The Ballard Bulldogs  "Flash" Food Drive was a huge success! Thanks to the generous people of this community we are going to be able to feed 4 families for Christmas Break! The Angel Tree is also receiving donations daily.

Out of the 56 stars that were originally placed on the tree, we only have 20 left. If you are interested in a star, stop by the school between 7:45 and 3:30 or contact Mrs. Bridges for a list of what is left.

All gifts for the tree need to be wrapped or placed in a gift bag and turned in to Mrs. Bridges on or before December 16th. Thank you again for helping to make this season bright!

Theater Anyone? – Rich Hill Junior High Production

“Whatever Happened After Once Upon a Time” is the title to the production that will be presented in February by members of the Rich Hill junior high. There was an interest meeting held on club day to see if there would be sufficient numbers to have a play. Fifteen students attended the meeting and it has been decided that the show will go on!

Mr. Doug Abend will be serving as the director and Mrs. Jennifer Wheatley will be his assistant. There will be a list of characters posted in the junior high hallway for students to review. After perusing the list students are asked to sign-up for auditions that will be held the week of January 2nd after school.

From the Harrisonville Police Department

With the weather now consistently cold, we feel it's a good time to remind everyone to not leave your vehicle unlocked and running in the morning to warm up.

Thieves love a nice toasty car just like the rest of us, and reports of vehicles being stolen increase during cold weather.

It's your vehicle, don't make it easy for others to steal!
