Low Daniel “Danny” Todd passed away on July 11, 2023 at the age of 67, in his hometown of Nevada, Missouri. He was born November 20, 1955 in Nevada to Erbin Regar (Sr.) and Margaret Agnes Todd.
Dan is survived by his wife Eileen Todd of the home; three daughters Megan Todd, Kansas City, MO, Lauren Todd, Tulsa, OK, and Hannah Todd, Honolulu, HI; two sisters, Maggie Earnest (Jim), Pleasant Hill, MO, Alice Shupe (Ken), Nevada; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Regar Todd, Jr.
Dan grew up in Nevada and graduated from Nevada High School in 74’. He went on to attend college and graduated from UCM, formerly known as Central Missouri State University in 77’ obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Design & Drafting Technology. Amongst getting his degree, CMSU is where he made many friends and met his wife, Eileen. After school they moved to Kansas City, MO where he worked as a Senior Draftsman at Burns & McDonnell for 36 years. Dan loved working with so many different people from all different countries and backgrounds. He always worked so hard to make sure his family and loved ones were taken care of and helped anyone who crossed his path in life. He truly was an amazing man, caring father, and loving husband.
He inspired a lot of people, including his family, with all his passions which kept him busy after retirement including woodworking, motorcycles, home improvement projects at the family farm house, gardening, jamming out to old records, and enjoying trips to see his daughters. He was a true renaissance man and will be greatly missed.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 18th, 2023 at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada, MO with Jim Lawrence officiating.

Obituary - Carol Ann (Thomas) Hacker
Carol Ann (Thomas) Hacker, 90, Nevada, MO passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO. Carol was born February 15, 1933 near Horton, MO, at the home of her parents C.O. and Willa “Hughes” Thomas. She married Bob L. Hacker on October 15, 1965 in Nevada and he preceded her in death.
Carol was a lifelong resident of Vernon County and graduated from Nevada High School in 1951. Carol worked at Missouri Public Service for 16 years. She was a stay-at-home mom until her son Robert was in school. She then worked as Nevada United Methodist Church Secretary until her retirement in 1998. Carol was a member of the United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, The Helping Hands Circle, and the NRMC Auxiliary. She also volunteered for Meals-on -Wheels.
Survivors include four grandchildren, Jake Claassen, Michael Hacker, Austin Hacker, and Kendra Hacker, and many nieces and nephews, and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Thomas, Raymore, MO. Her love was always family, and Sandy, Sharon, Rita, and Ken Hacker were her love and support for everything. “The Thomas’s are strung from coast to coast and in between. She loved them all.”
She was preceded in death by her husband Bob on Nov. 21, 2016 and three months later was preceded in death by her son, Robert Thomas Hacker; her parents; seven brothers, Charles Thomas, Runt Thomas, Coolie Thomas, Bill Thomas, Edward Thomas, Jim Thomas, and Darrell Thomas; three sisters, Mary Margaret Shumaker, Willa Marie Worley, and Sue Claypool; five sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Thomas, Maxine Thomas, and Catheryn Thomas, Polly Thomas, and Melba (Thomas) Edmonds; and three brothers-in-law, Ed Claypool, Henry Shumaker, and Dick Hendricks.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada with Pastor Bob Beaver officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dederick, MO. Friends may call from 8:00 am on Friday until the hour of service on Saturday.
Memorials are suggested in her name to the Nevada United Methodist Church c/o Ferry Funeral Home.

Obituary - Jody F. Cox
Jody F. Cox, age 64, passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Moore Few Care Center in Nevada, Missouri. Jody's wishes were to be cremated and a memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM at the Vansant-Mills Chapel on Saturday, July 15, 2023 with visitation one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions can be made to the Jody Cox Memorial Fund and may be left in care of the funeral home.
Jody was born in Kansas City, Missouri on November 17th 1958 to Cecile and Raymond Bigler. In 1974 her parents moved to Deepwater, Missouri to be closer to family. Jody Faye attended school with her siblings at Lakeland and graduated in May of 1977. Jody later moved to Clinton and married Donnie Cox. She raised a big family of 6 children, Crystal, Jeremy, Jamey, Matthew, Benjiman and Rachel. She was a mom to many of her children’s friends. She opened the door and her heart to many of them.
Jody worked at Rivals for several years as a line boss. She had many hobbies like crocheting, card games, cooking and watching westerns like her father. She had a love for the outdoors. She enjoyed fishing and camping with her kids. Being a grandma and great grandma was something she was proud of. She loved all her babies and her dog Molley.
Jody lived in Nevada, Missouri with her daughter Rachel and her fiancé Cody Waldrop and family. Together they spent time cooking out, camping and fishing.
She is preceded in death by her parents Cecile and Raymond Bigler, her daughter Crystal Cox and granddaughter Angelique Cox.
Survivors include her children Jeremy Cox, Jamey Cox, Matthew Cox, Benjiman Cox and Rachel Cox, her siblings, Vivian (Kenneth) Kasper, Fred (Sherri) Bigler and Susan Bigler, along with numerous nieces, nephews and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home in Clinton, Missouri.
