In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Adrian VFW Post 1935 or to the Adrian UMC to support the Wednesday meal program.
Clarence was born January 13, 1930 in Adrian, Missouri, the son of Charles Frederick and Allee (McNutt) Muiller. He was raised in Adrian. He began working for Western Telephone Company in 1947 and eventually retired from GTE Telephone in 1993. It was at the telephone company where he met the love of his life, Beverly McCann. They were married in 1956 and were together for more than 50 years! They made their home in Aurora, Missouri before eventually being transferred to West Plains, Missouri in 1977 and lived there until 1995 when they moved back to Adrian.
Clarence was a proud member of the United Methodist Church, serving in various functions of the church in every town in which he lived. He was also a proud member of the U. S. Marine Corps and served during the Korean Conflict. In August of 2015, he took the opportunity to visit Washington, DC with the Honor Flights of the Ozarks. It was an experience he truly enjoyed and it was made even more special by traveling with his brother-in-law, niece and nephew.
Clarence will be remembered for his sweet loving nature, his enormous smile and love of a joke (good or bad). He volunteered his time delivering meals and driving the Adrian taxi.
Clarence was preceded in death by Beverly, a son Scott, his parents and two brothers Harold and Earl Muiller. He leaves behind to celebrate his life one son, Brad Muiller (Doris), Kearney, Missouri; one daughter, Amy Pritchett (Matt), Prairie Village, Kansas; 7 grandchildren, Christopher, Joel, Ryan and Craig Muiller, Audrey, Abigail and Tyler Pritchett; one sister, Esther Burger and a multitude of family and friends.
