Disturbance leads to arrest in Amoret

On March 15, 2017 Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Madison Street in Amoret, MO in regards to a disturbance in progress.

During their investigation of the disturbance, Deputies searched Ann Burgess (DOB 9/27/75) and located a white pill inside her jacket pocket. Burgess stated the pill was hers but she did not have a prescription for it. Burgess also had an active warrant out of Cass County for failure to appear with a $100.00 cash only bond.

Burgess was transported to the Bates County Jail for the Cass County warrant. Charges are pending for possession of a controlled substance.
