On February 13th around 2:40 p.m. the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Bates County along with Bates County Sheriff's Deputies and Butler Fire Department responded to a one vehicle accident on I-49 in Passaic.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2021 Dodge Ram driven by 28 year old Saad Baig of Overland Park, Kansas was traveling south and traveled off the roadway, struck the end of the guardrail and overturned into the northbound median of I-49.
Mr. Baig sustained minor injuries in this accident and he refused medical treatment at the scene of the crash. The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene of the accident by Douty's Tow of Butler.
