A long time dream for Nurse Practitioner Darya Stump has become reality as she officially opened Body Beautiful, LLC on the east side of the Butler square offering a wide variety of services related to health and wellness.
It didn’t come without a lot of sweat equity as Stump, who makes her home near Butler with husband Charles, purchased the former Levy’s building at 17 N. Main street and transformed the 100+ year old landmark into a modern medical facility complete with private rooms, workstations and reception area plus a rework not visible to the public in the back. As well, the front of the building got a makeover- windows were again installed on the second story along with some brick and tile updates that truly restored curb appeal.
But all that was only part of opening Body Beautiful. According to Darya, navigation through miles of red tape regarding insurance, Medicaid and other certification was quite time consuming. But worth it. “I’m happy to say that we now accept Signa, Humana, most Medicaid programs, United Healthcare, Ambetter, UMR and more” she said with a smile.
In terms of medical related offerings, the list is big. Darya, who has been a nurse since 1993 and in practice since 2000, understands the needs and Body Beautiful provides accordingly. As a family practice, this would include treatment of acute and chronic ailments accordingly- all while providing both in house and outsourced lab work, DOT physicals, drug screening, IV hydration, vitamin injections, lipo mino to aid with metabolism issues, IV detox and a variety of weight loss programs. Chronic and ongoing issues are her forte as well, including treatments for diabetes, hypertension and other common illnesses.
