Explosion Bring the Heat at Recent Tournament

The Rich Hill-based Explosion Basketball program made a big statement this past weekend, taking six teams to tournament play—and every single one earned a shot at the championship in their division.

Here’s how the Explosion teams finished:

3rd Grade Girls – Champions: 6th Grade Girls – Runner-Up: High School Girls – Runner-Up: 5th Grade Boys – Runner-Up: JV Boys – Runner-Up: Varsity Boys – Champions

It was the second straight tournament win for the Varsity Boys, who are building serious momentum heading into the summer. All Explosion teams have been grinding twice a week in practices since April, and their commitment is showing up in a big way on the court.

Up next, the program sets its sights on Hardwood Basketball’s Battle for the Rings, May 23–25 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. With strong performances and a deep bench of talent across age groups, the Explosion is turning heads and proving they’re a force to be reckoned with.
