Update on Kameron Williams 2/6/17

Kam and Heather
I have struggled with posting an update. We had improvement early in the day. However Kam's x-rays showed that his right lung had again acquired a fluid build up. He has been placed back on the ventilator. This sounds scary but in reality it is helping him to have time to heal his very damaged lungs.

He will have surgery this week to have a trach placed and that will allow for his lungs to continue to be suctioned as needed while they heal and to have assisted breathing as needed and it can more easily be capped off to allow him to breathe on his own as he can in recovery.

This was Kameron's decision and I have recognized thru his journey he knows what he needs and has been capable of making choices along side his doctors, Dad and I. Please continue your prayers for Kam.  - Courtesy of Heather Kam's Mother #kamsfam
