Two Bates County 4-H Seniors were the recipients of 4-H scholarships. Shaylee Terry, Hume, Missouri, and Tayton Dains, Rockville, Missouri, were awarded these scholarships. Both seniors were outstanding 4-H club members in Bates County and were actively involved.
Shaylee has been a 4-H member with Countyline 4-H for 10 years; Tayton has been a member of the Hudson Hustlers 4-H club for 11 years.
Shaylee has been awarded the Jeffrey Laughlin Memorial Scholarship and the Pat Evans Memorial Scholarship. She is the daughter of Dwight and Sabrina Terry.
Tayton is the recipient of the Bates County 4-H Scholarship and the Pat Evans Memorial Scholarship. Tayton is the son of Kalie Dains.
